---- Tyler Monroe 21, male Teleportation
It was just a regular commuting college day for Tyler as he boarded the train to take him from down-town to upperton. Being a secret gifted with the power of teleportation, one might expect the young adult to just teleport himself all the way back home. The thing was? He was tired of being special. Especially when being special could get you arrested now a days. Ever since gifteds were discovered nearly fifty years ago, the whole world has dubbed them as bad, no matter what sort of good person may be using them! This gifted was just tired of it all and wished to be normal, but knew deep down that was not the case, but he could pretend it was. As he stood among the supposedly 'normal' crowd of people on the train, he couldn't help but think the one thought that comforted him the most at that moment: they all thought he was normal, which is what he'd always wanted. No fear of being judged for something he couldn't control, no fear of being arrested, no fear of-
The train going faster than normal?
Tyler's gaze glanced around him as he felt rather than saw how fast the train was moving over the tracks. The faces of some didn't seem to notice quite yet, either because they were preocuppied with their own problems or technology in their ears; but others seemed to notice the uncanny swaying and occasional bump of the cart. That wasn't supposed to happen. When Tyler's brain finally registered with what his eyes were seeing, he in fact saw how unnaturally speedy this train was going, and how all the buildings seemed to turn into blurs with each passing second. The lights started flickering on and off as the male glanced upward, before looking at his hand gripping the bar; it had turned white as a ghost.
"RUNAWAY TRAIN!" A random voice yelled, causing Tyler to snap out of his stupor to panic himself. He should have taken the subway! Wait no, what was he thinking? He could help! But how? Use his powers? No way! Before he could even consider any of this, Tyler found himself being shoved as people around him began to panic. He lost his gripping on the rail for a moment, all the while attempting to make sense of what was happening.

Bianca Ward, 20, female gifted: telekinesis
“This can’t be real!” Bianca shouted over the screams of others into no one in particular. As if the windows were burst open, her hair lifted about her face with the sheer velocity of the train’s motions. She had the worst luck in the world. Her mother had done wrong by naming her Bianca, she should have been Murphy. Boy or girl, she should have been Murphy, at least that way people would have expected it. The only reason she was even on this damned train in the first place was because someone had hit her car several weeks before. And now this?! If she was to survive this crash, she was going to become a recluse and work from home – completely doable now that the internet was a major hub of business. Casting thoughts of her future aside, Bianca released the railing she’d been clamping tightly onto and pulled her fingers through her fine, black hair.
What to do? What to do? This could have been so much simpler if the government wasn’t running around arresting people for having abnormal abilities. She was willing to bet that at least six people on this train could stop it.. including herself if she were only a bit stronger. If anything, she could lift a seat cushion and guide herself off of the train and into safety. There was no way in hell that she could stop a whole train. Considering her options, Bianca’s brow furrowed and the train began to speed up. Again, this couldn’t be serious. Was there someone pushing it?! Naturally, the train was supposed to slow down, right?! How did Newton’s law end: an object in motion will – her thoughts were cut short by a scream! Shooting up, Bianca sloppily tied her hair into a ponytail, searching for the source. Maybe it was because she was young and agile or maybe she just had the face of someone that knew what to do, but she was unnerved by the amount of people that were looking to her, as if for direction and she froze completely.
---
Brendan Avery, 18, male normal, journalist/news caster
He wanted to catch a good story, but this was more than he bargained for! With nothing but his camera clenched to his chest, Brendan curled up into a fetal position in his seat. His rested his chin on his knees and peered out of the window. Everything was flying by so quickly. Oddly, he couldn’t feel the speed of the train, but he could see it and that made him just as sick. At the thought his stomach turned. He was prone to motion sickness, this would not end well – and that was in regard to him vomiting everywhere, not the fact that they may all very well die. At eighteen he felt as though he were too young to die and perhaps too old to be calling for his mother, but both seeming to be happening no matter the case.

Gina Tyler, 19, Female Corey Tyler, 22, Male gifted: water manipluation
- - - -
Gina: 994499 | Corey: 229999
"RUNAWAY TRAIN!" Those two words woke sleeping gifted Corey Tyler from his slumber, his younger sister Gina curled up on the other seat beside him. He touched her shoulder, his fingertips drenched in water. That was the easiest way to wake her up. "Gee! Gina, get up. We're.... we're in trouble." Corey whispered to his sleeping sister, as she murmured something in her sleep, before jolting awake, her shoulder wet from the water her brother had collected on her shoulder. "I'm awake, Corey..." Gina grumbled softly.
But the way the train lurched and raced down the track, Gina soon realised that this wasn't just Corey being silly. This was actual real danger. Since gifteds were both illegal and not allowed out in public (or something just as silly) being out here with her brother was putting her into enough danger without being on the runaway train. She reached over and grabbed his hand, as she looked around the train. There had to be at least a handful of other gifteds around that could help make the train slow down. She leaned over to her brother. "Cant you do something?" She asked him under the shouts of the pasengers and hysterical people. "Turn the tracks to water or at least soften them up a little?" Gina spoke. "Gina are you kidding?" Corey nearly shouted.
"If I did that, I could potentially put everyone on this train to death quicker!"

Brendan perked. With one hand on the lens and another on the body of the camera, he peered quickly over his seat. He kept his knees bunched to his chest, as if that was going to save him if this train was flung off of the tracks. What kept him from praying to a God he hadn’t believed him until now was the curious conversation going on behind him. Blame the part of his heart that was constantly searching for the next big beat, but there was something within the pair’s hushed whispers that seemed just right. As he peaked over his seat, the blonde’s brow piqued from pure fascination and he spoke towards the one he suspected was, ‘Tine’ or at least that’s what it had sounded like with all of the screaming in the background, “The two of you, you can do something, can’t you. You’re gifted?” The government’s term seemed partially demeaning. If they were so gifted, why did they have to be ashamed? Brendan waited anxiously for an answer as if this was the kind of thing that you would contest for a stranger.

Tyler - Green Chester - Orange
Screams.Pushing. More Screams. This whole cart was seriously out of control. As if by subconscious choice, Tyler's body gave a small shiver before he found himself being pushed and pulled at the same time by a force he thought he could control. His feet landed clumsily on the new surface of what looked like the same train-compartment, but it wasn't. There were different faces here, all of which looked just as shocked as the ones previous, but these seemed a tad more calm. Leave it to this tall, lanky lad to tell the difference!
Pushing his curly brown hair out of his eyes (and a bit of sweat just as well), Tyler gave a short start as he realized what he had done. A few of the passengers around him who could pay attention to more than just the impending doom of the train, noticed as well and some drew away from him in a start while a few others merely stared curiously, not understanding what had just happened. crap! what'd you do that for Tyler? He wanted to punch himself in the face, but that would just look silly, so instead he shuffled as best he could away from the onlookers who saw, and hurried as hastily as he could toward the front of the compartment.
A look in the upper corner told him he was in compartment four. Okay, so he was closer to the front. Good, he'd just die faster if they crashed... No, he couldn't think like that! He had to keep reminding himself that he had a gift! What use was it? He'd asked himself all this time, until now. He could help. He could help fix this! He was no train engineer, but he knew that the controls for the train lied in the front....so if he could just teleport himself through this crowded train he could- "Oof!" Tyler had idiotically pushed straight into another passenger due to his distracted mind, and was in the midst of apologzing at the worst possible time in anyone's life when he noticed the face. "Bianca?" Of course this was the biggest coincidence! Tyler knew this girl well, since he had shared quite a few classes with her back in highschool. They were pretty good friends back then, and had drifted apart. That is, until faith brought them crashing back together. Literally. His pale green eyes stared at her in shock for a few seconds before softening slightly, he was extremely happy to see her- but still, the train was moving at a fast rate and they all might die any moment- but still, it was nice! "This is a bad time, isn't it..." He glanced around at the onlookers, who either had gone into shock or were too shocked to see a guy like him knew a girl like her. It was probably the first choice though.
---- Chester Ryan (gifted/terrorist: hacker)
Meanwhile, in the front of the train, a group of young adults worked hurriedly on the most news-worthy catastrophe of the year. "Can you guys shut up? I'm trying to concentrate..." A short, caramel-colored teen growled, his dark eyes hardening as he focused on the machine in front of him. He was the hacker in this attack, and the real reason this train was going full blast down the tracks. His gang was there for support and protection, well, mostly protection (he thought!) and their constant talking was keeping him from his goal. He was nealry there...just a few more speed-circuits and he'd have the system. It would all be over and they could get out of there before the train reached the end of the barrier.
